The City of Liverpool Pipes and Drums have joined the Chester Wind Band for concerts held at the Ellesmere Port Civic Hall. They are always hugely popular, and worth going to see them perform. Machynlleth Wind Band

Machynlleth Wind Band meets every Tuesday evening in term time between 7.30 and 9.30 p.m in the Tabernacl, Penrallt Street, Machynlleth, Powys

There is a fee of ¬£20 per term for adults and ¬£11 for young people in full time education which goes towards the band’s running costs.

Machynlleth Win Band are always happy to welcome new members and have instruments available for those who play but don’t currently have their own instrument.

Machynlleth Wind band have an active entertainment programme which includes performances as diverse as accompanying Church hymn singing in the open air, carolling round Machynlleth at Christmas, and playing as part of the summer entertainment programme in the Bandstand in Aberystwyth, as well as concerts in the Tabernacl.
